Since 1955
Charlotte Potashnik is a northern Virginia native who retired from the World Bank in 2000 after a 25-year career in human resources. She began her journey in art in 2002 taking a variety of courses through the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC and the Art League School in Alexandria, VA. She has also attended a number of art workshops in the USA and abroad. Her primary mediums are oil, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, colored pencil, oil pastel, and graphite.
Charlotte is a member of the McLean Art Society, Vienna Arts Society, and the Virginia Watercolor Society. She has been juried into several juried shows. She is past President of the McLean Art Society (2008-2010) and past co-President of the Vienna Arts Society (2005-2007) as well as Vice President of McLean Art Society (2011and 2016) and Vice President of Vienna Arts Society in 2017.
