Asmita Nagar Upadhyay ( Asmita Upadhyay) resides in Falls Church, VA. She is from Indore (Madhya Pradesh), India and is residing in USA from last 10 years.
Her passion for art work dates back to her childhood where she used to gift handmade cards to her school and college friends/ teachers/ relatives on their birthdays and on various occasions. She enjoys painting in acrylics and sketching as well, and has tried working with all media’s. Her favorite subjects include Peacock, Peacock feather, Rose, Nature and anything that stirs her soul.
She is a professional Henna Artist as well. Mehndi, otherwise known as henna, is a paste associated with positive spirits and good luck. Indian Wedding tradition calls for a Mehndi ceremony to be held the night before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to marriage. She has been a part of International Nights at various schools in the county, putting Henna tattoos to students, in various weddings, baby shower and birthday parties as well.
Asmita has done her Master’s in Business Management, Masters in Arts (English Literature) and Bachelors in Chemistry Honors. She has experience as a Management Professor, Counsellor, soft skills trainer and has work experience in Sales and HR Department.
She feels that her passion for Arts is the best gift God almighty has blessed her with and she thoroughly enjoys creating her art works. She feels creating art is like meditation for her. She is passionate, optimistic and loves Life and a lover of mankind.
She truly believes that purpose of Art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.
